Too many triangles. Whoever designed the building really needed to use some other shapes!
What is your favorite thing about the community?
Everyone is always really friendly, teachers, other staff, students, and parents. It’s just a really good environment to just be in.
What are the typical characteristics of an IST student?
They’re always curious and want to know more, sometimes not just about their schoolwork. They’re all pretty open to new experiences and ideas, too.
What is your favorite memory at IST?
Roadman Antigone – only that group could have come up with that idea; seeing G11 students use everything they’ve learned in debates to win; seeing the two G13 students I’m working with for their thesis do their presentations and have their thesis come together finally.
What would you be if you weren’t a teacher?
Marginally richer? Bored much more often? Probably still working in marketing and promotions in the UK.
