Eight years! Time has really flown by!
Describe IST in 3 words.
Community, Identity, Stability?* But, seriously, I would say…community, love and learning. *This is mentioned in one of the books we study in grade 10
What is your favorite thing about the community?
Seeing the students arrive in the morning and greet each other and their teachers with smiles, happy to be there. It may seem trite, but I appreciate the honesty this shows.
What are the typical characteristics of an IST student?
They are polite, resourceful and think about the wider world.
What is your favorite memory at IST?
Watching Busara House Advisory working with every bit of effort to hold Kleos to a draw in almost every sports competition.
What would you be if you weren’t a teacher?
I’d probably be making Youtube videos, which is something I seem to be doing a lot recently anyway!
