The International School of Trieste offers the following transport services:
1. Trieste bus shuttle
There is a daily bus service to and from the centre of the city.
- Morning departure from Piazza Oberdan 8:00am
(IST arrival 8:25am)
- Afternoon departure from IST 4:00pm
(Piazza Oberdan arrival 4:25pm)
Stops can be arranged along the route by parental request. There is always a teacher on the bus to ensure student safety.
2. Regional bus shuttles
It is possible to organize transportation for students who live outside Trieste. The route and costs are set each year based on requests by parents. Currently two buses run:
- bus from/to Udine which departs from the Udine train station;
- bus which departs from Ronchi dei Legionari with stops in Monfalcone, Duino and Sistiana.
These transportation services may also be used occasionally, with prior notice and subject to seat availability. The provision of these services is subject to change in accordance with governmental health and safety guidelines. Please check regularly for updates.
