Ludovica Paparo, IST Class of 2014
Degree: Law Degree at Università Bocconi (Milan)
How long did you attend IST?
I left IST only when I had to: High School graduation year 2014, after 17 years.
What was your thesis title?
“The Existence of Safeguards for Minors”. It was challenging, but I enjoyed every part of the process. I visited Trieste’s Minors Court, with the important help and support of one of IST’s Professors, and examined both when minors are victims and the subsequent procedures.
What was your IST house?
Busara, of course!
In what ways were you prepared for your future studies?
I took advanced placement courses in several subjects and realized what university was going to look like. Above all, IST shaped my approach to the study and gave me an open-mindedness, crucial – in the first place – for my admission exam in Bocconi University. Plus, thanks to IST I can speak French.
What sparked your interest in finance/management?
Slowly finding out that there is more to Law: philosophy, ethics and logic.
Field trips, soccer practices after school and the tournaments around Italy and Europe.
